Causal Inference with Non-Experimental Data (30/07/2018-02/08/2018)

The fourth ZIB Academy was dedicated to the topic “Causal Inference with Non-Experimental Data” and was hosted by IPN in Kiel.

Around 25 early-career researchers from five different countries engaged intensively with causal effects in two two-day workshops:

• Identification and estimation of causal effects (Professor Felix Thoemmes, Cornell University)

• Causal mediation analysis (Professor Stijn Vansteelandt, Ghent University).

A poster session provided an opportunity for participants to present their work and discuss it with experts.
