The sixth ZIB Academy focused on “Research Syntheses in Educational Research”. It was hosted by TUM and held via Zoom.

In keynotes and workshops, Professor Larry Hedges (Northwestern University), Professor Andreas Gegenfurtner (University of Passau), Professor Wolfgang Viechtbauer (Maastricht University) and Dr. Susanne Bücker (University of Bochum) provided practical insights into the methods and perspectives of research syntheses, including:

• Selecting topics

• Statistical analysis

• Publication

• Practical relevance.
